All HKIS parents, students and faculty members are automatically members of the HKIS Parent Faculty Organization (PFO) —no application required.
As a 100% volunteer run organization, our mission is to build a positive community, encourage parent engagement, and foster open communication between school and home. Every dollar raised through our events goes directly back into supporting the school and student learning through the PFO Innovation Endowed Fund.
What We Do
Throughout the school year, the PFO hosts a variety of events to bring our community together, starting with Welcome Day in August. We invite new parents to join our dedicated New Parent WhatsApp group to connect with both new and seasoned families. Our major annual highlights include the school-wide PFO Fair in the second semester, the LP/UP Book Fair, Teacher Appreciation Week, Quiz Night and Lunar New Year celebrations.
